| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents, Russell was found guilty by jury trial of the crime of Rape in the 2nd Degree on November 22, 2002. He was given a term of 137 months in prison. The victim was a 20 year old female who had lived next door to Russell's family member. Russell obtained the victim's phone number and called her asked if she wanted to go to a friend's apartment with him to kick it, and she agreed. The victim consumed beer out of a bong that caused her to drink the beer fast, causing her to become intoxicated. Russell asked the victim to go to the bedroom so he could talk. She refused and Russell grabbed the victim's hand and pulled her into the bedroom. Russell began kissing the victim and she told Russell no several times. Russell removed the victim's clothing and got on top of her and sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to call someone when Russell left the room. She was taken to the hospital and the police were contacted. Russell completed sex offender Treatment while in prison. Russell also has convictions for Assault and Robbery.
