| Comments: | According to official documents, Boyle pled guilty to the crimes of Kidnapping 1st degree, count 1, Kidnapping 2nd degree, counts 2 and 3, and Rape in the 2nd degree, count 4 on January 8, 1988. He was given a term of 72 months in prison with credit for time served in jail while awaiting trial. In the early morning hours of June 29, 1987, the three victims, female age 15, male age 16 and a male age 19, had just left a residence in the Monroe area and were driving into Everett. The victims stopped in the 3000 block of Hewitt Ave at which time the offender, Boyle, pulled in behind the victim's vehicle blocking it in. The offender informed the victims that he was a police officer and threatened to arrest the driver for drunk driving. The offender then told the victims that he was going to take them to the police station and searched all of the victims. He ordered the victims into his vehicle. The offender then drove east onto the trestle and pulled off of the trestle at 51st Street SE and pulled under the trestle The offender then had the two males exit his vehicle and had them lay face down on the ground. The offender then left with the female victim and took her to an unknown location in the Everett area and raped her. The Offender was arrested that morning with the female victim still in his vehicle. While in prison he did attend Sex Offender treatment, but was terminated for lack of progress. Boyle was released into the community on July 2, 1993, and has registered as required. Boyle moved from his Everett address to his current address on April 24, 2000. Boyle has done all of his time for his crimes and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
