| Comments: | Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it was not until passage of the community protection act of 1990 (which mandates sex offender registration) that law enforcement even knew where they were living. In many cases, law enforcement is not able to share that information with you. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Further, such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notifications. We believe the only person who wins if community notification ends is the sex offender, since sex offenders drive their power through secrecy. According to official documents Curtis G. Wikel was convicted in 4/2014 of the crime Communications with a Minor for Immoral Purposes. Wikel posted an ad on a website offering money for sex. Contact was made by undercover law enforcement posing as a 15 year old female. A date, time location and money were agreed upon over emails. Wikel arrived at the location and was arrested by uniformed officers. Wikel admitted to the agreement of sex for money. Curtis G. Wikel is currently under WA DOC Supervision. He will be supervised by the WA DOC Everett Field Office, 425-771-7322. " Probation Conditions Entered |
