| Comments: | In 2000 Zain pled guilty in Lewis County Juvenile Court to three counts of Rape of a Child 2nd Degree. The conviction resulted from him having sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old female when he was 17 years old. Later, during sex offender treatment while incarcerated, he disclosed several additional victims that ranged from young children to adults. As a result of his conviction he was sentenced to the Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration and was released on 05/29/02. Since his original release from JRA custody he has been involved in continued non-sexual criminal acts. His last conviction was on 08/08/05 for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Bail Jumping. As a result of that conviction he was sentenced to 17 months in prison and was released on 07/23/06. Based on the developed information concerning his sexual offense history and his continued criminal behavior he presents a high risk to re-offend and this community notification is required. |
