| Comments: | According to official documents Nelson pled guilty in Mohave County Superior Court on 05/26/1989 to one count of Attempted Sexual Assault and was sentenced to 215 days in jail. This conviction was the result of Nelson sexually assaulting the unknown 17 year old female victim. Nelson was only known by the victim as another resident of the same apartment complex. The victim had just gone to bed when she heard a knock at the door. She went to the door and unlocked it when a male wearing camouflaged clothing burst through the door and attacked her. He physically assaulted her and shoved her down on the couch. He then pulled a hand gun from his waistband and placed it on the table near her. The victim struggled with Nelson. He continued to hold her down while tearing her clothing off and attempted to bind her hands with electrical tape. The victim continued to struggle and Nelson threatened to kill her if she did not cooperate. He grabbed her and dragged her into the bedroom where he sexually assaulted her. She had recognized him from scars on his wrist and his voice. On 12/28/1998 Nelson pled guilty in Riverside County California Superior Court to three counts of Annoying / Molesting Children under age 18 and was sentenced to 28 days in jail. This conviction was the result of Nelson approaching three girls that were known to him because they were neighbors. The two 10 year old and one 12 year old female victims were taking garbage out when Nelson walked up to the 12 year old and reached out to give her a hug. When she got close he grabbed her breasts. She ran away and Nelson then approached the two 10 year olds. He pulled their pants down and was attempting to fondle them while at the same time exposing his penis to them. Nelson asked one of the victims if she wanted to have sex with him. These victims also ran away. There is no record of Nelson participating in sex offender treatment. Most recently Nelson was released from prison on 04/26/2008 after serving a one year and one day sentence for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is no longer on supervision. |
