| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Fries pled guilty in King County Superior Court on 01/31/1992 to one count of Rape Second Degree. He was sentenced to 51-68 months in prison. He was released after serving 58 months. Fries met the 21 year old unknown female at a tavern where she worked. After her shift ended she drank with Fries. He offered her a ride home when she was going to leave to walk home. Once Fries had driven the victim to her residence she tried to get out of the car and the door would not open. Fries then attacked her and threatened to kill her if she did not meet his sexual demands. The struggle was heard by neighbors who called the police. When police arrived, they got Fries out of the car and asked him what was going on. He told the officers that he was trying to rape the girl. Fries started sex offender treatment while in prison but stopped and later declined to participate. He is not on active supervision at this time and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. No contact with victim for life. |
