| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents, Jurss pled guilty to the Crime of Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes on July 8, 2009 and was given a term of 26 months in prison. Jurss first met his victim at a swap meet. The victim was a 14 year old female. Jurss had sexual contact with this victim twice in a two week period. Other students at the victims school informed a school counselor and the police were contacted and Jurss was arrested. Jurss was convicted of two counts of Criminal Sexual Assault in McHenry County, Illinois in August of 2000. Jurss was 14 years old and sexually assaulted two boys ages 4 and 6 while he was babysitting them. Jurss during the McHenry County Investigation admitted to two other victims, both males ages 6 and 7. These two incidents were never adjudicated. Jurss did not have enough time remaining on his sentence to complete the Sex Offender Treatment Program while in prison. Jurss did attend sex offender treatment while a juvenile. Jurss will be on active supervision with the Marysville office of the Department of Corrections for a period of 36 months. 360-658-2150 Shall enter into and successfully complete sex offender treatment.
