| Comments: | Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it was not until passage of the community protection act of 1990 (which mandates sex offender registration) that law enforcement even knew where they were living. In many cases, law enforcement is not able to share that information with you. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Further, such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notifications. We believe the only person who wins if community notification ends is the sex offender, since sex offenders drive their power through secrecy. According to official documents, Kirry in January of 2004 entered and remained unlawfully in a business with the intent to commit sexual assault. Kirry on four different occasions went to the bakery located in Seattle with the intention of exposing himself. Kirry entered into the closed bakery and exposed himself to employees. Kirry was on active supervision with the Department of Corrections when he was arrested for this crime. Kirry was convicted and given a term of 9 months to 10 years. Kirry served 9.4 years in prison and was released on March 1, 2014. In July of 2000 Kirry sexually assaulted a known 4 year old male while he was babysitting the victim. Kirry had met the victim's family at church where he routinely volunteered with activities centered around children. Kirry was convicted of Assault in the 2nd degree with sexual motivation on March 22, 2002 and was given a term of 7 months in jail and 36 months of supervision. Sometime in June of 2001 Kirry was caught and later convicted of Attempted Indecent Exposure in Gig Harbor Municipal court as he was seen masturbating in his car while parked in a grocery store parking lot. Kirry attended Sex Offender treatment while in prison. Kirry admits that he would go to public parks and bathrooms to masturbate. Kirry is on active supervision with the Marysville Office of the Department of Corrections. 360-658-2150 " Probation Conditions Shall obey all Municipal, County, State, Tribal and Federal Laws. Shall enter into and successfully complete "Phase III" sex offender treatment while in the Community. Shall not use, possess, consume any controlled substances without a lawfully issued prescription.
