| Probable cause affidavit: | SUBMITTED BY: MOORE, ANDREW 0619 (AR08102370) DID KNOWINGLY, WHILE HIS OPERATOR'S OR CHAUFFEUR'S LICENSE OR DRIVING PRIVILEGE HAD BEEN CANCELLED, SUSPENDED OR REVOKED, DRIVE UPON THE HIGHWAYS OF THIS STATE, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTE 322.34(2)(A). On 032608 AT APPROXIMATELY 1700 hOUrs while conducting A TRAFFIC STOP on South Suncoast BOUlEvARd in the area of Homosassa Springs FLORIDA, I was notified by Deputy Cridland that he observed the defendant, MS JENNIFER Kesicki traveling south in a Green Chevy Monte Carlo bearing tag NUMBER 267kgq. IT SHOULD BE NOTED; Deputy Cridland had pRIOR KNOWLEDGE that the defendant had a suspended driver's license. AFTER DEPUTY CRIDLAND ADVISED THIS deputy OF THIS, I THEN VERIFIED that the defendant's license was SUSPENDED through "David", which provided me with a photoGRAPH idENTIFICATION of the defendant. AFTER observing a vehicle THAT MATCHED the description PARKED AT THE parking lot of McDonald's, I THEN ENTERED THROUGH the north bound entrance of McDonald's AND positively identified the defendant due to the defendant's driver window being down ROLLED COMPLETELY DOWN. UPON FURTHER OBSERVATION I DID OBSERVE the defendant PULL out on to SOUTH SUNCOAST BOULEVARD and I INITIATED the traffic stop at WEST Homosassa Trail and SOUTH Ohio AveNUE. DURING THAT TIME, the defendant tried to exit her vehicle and I requested the defendant to REMAIN in the vehicle to which she complied. I then requested the defendant to provide me with her driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance at which time the defendant asked if she could exit the vehicle so that she did not have to talk in front of her children. The defendant provided me with a Florida Identification card and stated that her license was suspended and that she was supposeD to get HER DRIVER'S LICENSE reinstated on 040108. At that time I returned to my patrol vehicle and ran the defendants Florida Identification card inTO FCIC/NCIC to verify that the defendant's license was suspended. The search REVEALED that on 033107 the defendant's license was suspended in reference to FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS due to Non-Judgment suspension. The Defendant contacted her daughter's father who responded to the scene to pick-up the defendant's three children and to remove the vehicle FROM THE SCENE. IT WAS AT TIME, the defendant was advise that she was being placed under arrest for driving while license suspended or revoked, handcuffed(double locked) in the front due to a shoulder injury, placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle and transported to Citrus County Detention Facility. Upon arrival at the Detention Facility, the defendant was also issued a Uniform Traffic Citation number 8034-FGW for driving while license suspended or revoked and a criminal court date set for 041008 at 1000 hrs. The bond was set for $250.00 per the bond schedule. *NOT-EXEMPT* |
