| Narrative: | On the above date and time, an officer of the Brooksville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a white GMC pickup for a minor traffic infraction. The officer made contact with the driver, Joseph Sluder, and was given his driver’s license and registration. The officer wrote a citation and asked Sluder to step out of the vehicle and walk back to the patrol car. Sluder put the vehicle in drive and sped away recklessly. The vehicle then fled west on Cortez Blvd. For public safety reasons, the officer did not pursue. An arrest warrant is forthcoming for Sluder in reference to Fleeing to Elude. |
