| Comments: | Kristofer Michael LACROSS, was convicted in 2001of Rape of a Child 1st Degree and Child Molestation 1st Degree. Regarding the Child Molestation 1st Degree conviction, LACROSS (ages 11-12) had sexual contact with a 6 year old female neighbor. This contact occurred several times over a 9 month time frame. LACROSS would visit the victim's residence and play with the victim and her siblings. LACROSS would get the victim alone and have sexual contact with the victim that included exposing himself to her, fondling her, and sexual penetration of the victim. LACROSS would engage the victim in this sexual activity by the use of a game he called the 'private game' or 'doctor'. The activity that led to the Rape of a Child 1st Degree conviction started in April of 1999. LACROSS (ages 10-11) engaged in sexual contact with a 6 year old female family member. This sexual contact occurred several times over an 8 month time frame. LACROSS used tricks, bribes, games, and threats to make the victim comply with the sexual contact and to keep her from disclosing the abuse. LACROSS would expose himself to the victim and engage her in fondling and sexual penetration of the victim. LACROSS has also self-disclosed 4 additional victims and reported that he engaged in similar sexual activities with these additional victims. 3 of the victims were neighbors and one was a family member. No criminal charges have been filed in these additional incidents at the time of this notification. LACROSS' recent criminal history includes Failing to Register as a Sex Offender, Harassment, and Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer. LACROSS is currently being supervised by the Washington State Department of Corrections. Due to LACROSS's sexual criminal history, he has been classified as a LEVEL 3 Sex Offender. |
