| Comments: | Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it was not until passage of the community protection act of 1990 (which mandates sex offender registration) that law enforcement even knew where they were living. In many cases, law enforcement is not able to share that information with you. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Further, such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notifications. We believe the only person who wins if community notification ends is the sex offender, since sex offenders drive their power through secrecy. According to official documents, Green was convicted of Child Molestation in the 1st degree in Snohomish County Juvenile Court and given a term of 52 to 65 weeks in a Juvenile Institution. Green (age 16 at time of crime) had sexually assaulted a 5 year old known non-familial female. Green would place his hands in the victim's pants and molest the victim. The victim reported that the molestations occurred on more than one occasion and happened in various locations both in the home and outside of the home. According to official documentation, in 2006 Green (12 years old) sexually assaulted a 6 year old male. While in the institution, he attended treatment.
