| Comments: | According to official documents, McGowen pled guilty to the crime of Rape of a Child 1st Degree in Snohomish County Juvenile Court on January 31, 2007 and was given a term of 52-65 weeks in a juvenile institution. McGowen sexually assaulted a known 10 year old male. McGowen locked the room that they were in and forced his victim onto a bed and committed his crime. After the assault McGowen offered his victim money not to tell anyone. While at the institution McGowen exposed and fondled himself to two peer age girls at the facility. McGowen has convictions for theft 2nd in 2004, Theft 3rd in 2005 and Theft 3rd in 2006. While in the institution McGowen attended sex offender treatment and a variety of other groups designed to increase social, emotional and problem-solving skills. McGowen is not on active supervision and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
