| Narrative: | The Brooksville Police Department Patrol Division reports that units responded to 411 Armstrong St in reference to a battery complaint. During the investigation it was found that the victim and Mattie R. Johnson had been in a altercation at a family gathering earlier in the evening. While the victim was walking home Johnson confronted the victim and punched her in the left eye. The victim did sustain a swollen eye and a cut on the eyebrow. Johnson was taken into custody for battery. It was found that Johnson had prior convictions for battery which made this charge a felony. Johnson was held at the Hernando County Jail under a $2,000.00 bond. |
