| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Nelson pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on 04/20/1984 to one count of Second Degree Rape. He was sentenced to Three years in prison. He was paroled and returned to prison on two occasions and was supervised until 08/12/1993. This conviction was the result of Nelson sexually assaulting the unknown adult female while at a party. The victim who Nelson had just met, Nelson and several others were at a cocktail lounge. The decision was made to continue the party at an apartment. Once there during the evening the victim went into a bathroom where Nelson followed her and then physically assaulted her before he raped her. Two other rape charges were dismissed as a result of the plea agreement. In both of those cases Nelson had physically overpowered and raped the adult female victims. One was a stranger and one Nelson knew as an acquaintance. Most recently Nelson served a 90 month prison sentence for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Nelson is on active supervision with the Washington State Department of Corrections, Lynnwood office (425) 771-7116, for a period of twelve months and has the following conditions: Obey all laws. Shall not consume controlled substances except pursuant to lawfully issued prescriptions. Shall not purscase, own or possess any firearm or explosive. |
