| Comments: | According to official documents, Beck was found guilty by a jury trial of the crimes of Rape in the 1st degree and kidnapping in the 1st degree. And sentenced to a term of not more than twenty years and a minimum term to be fixed by the state parole board on April 10, 1978. On January 27, 1978 the victim was using a phone in a hallway of a motel when Beck and another person walked up to her and told her that she was coming with them while pointing a handgun at the victim. The victim was forced into a vehicle and taken to a secluded area and raped by both subjects. The victim was then taken back to the motel and let out of the vehicle. The victim called the police and Beck was arrested in the same vehicle with the weapon used in the crime. Beck no longer has any conditions except to register. |
