| Comments: | According to official documents Hancock pled guilty in King County Superior Court, Juvenile Court on 10/06/1997 to one count of Attempted Rape in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree with a special finding of Sexual Motivation, and one count of Residential Burglary with a special finding of Sexual Motivation. He was sentenced to 216 weeks with the Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration. These convictions were the result of Hancock breaking into a neighbor?s residence and rummaging through the known 13 year female victim?s underwear drawer. Hancock laid out candy hearts on the victim?s bed and left a sexually explicit message on her computer monitor. He also removed jewelry from the residence which he was later found to have in his pocket. In a separate incident Hancock snuck into the known 13 year old female victim?s home while she was in the backyard sunbathing. When she entered the residence Hancock confronted her and demanded that she remove her bathing suit. When she refused Hancock grabbed her and wrestled with her. He threatened to get a knife from the kitchen and began dragging her that way. She eventually complied, taking off her bathing suit at which time Hancock grabbed her crotch. The victim continued to try to escape and was able to do so after biting Hancock on the hand. The physical assault included Hancock choking the victim and grabbing her hair and striking her head against the floor. In a separate incident Hancock was observed by a neighbor as he stood on his deck and was openly masturbating. He tried to make eye contact with the neighbor and followed her movements throughout her residence as he continued to masturbate. This charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement to the above listed charges. While in custody with JRA Hancock grabbed the buttocks of a female staff member on one occasion. Hancock participated in sex offender treatment however he did not make progress as expected. Hancock is not on active supervision at this time and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
