| Comments: | MONTAGUE, Thomas According to official documents, in 1976, when subject MONTAGUE was 25 years old, he went to a Snohomish County business for a massage. MONTAGUE was told the business was closed. MONTAGUE climbed over a partition toward two female employees (both 21 years old). They ran and locked themselves in another room. MONTAGUE broke into the room armed with a 9 mm handgun. The females were trying to call for help so MONTAGUE threw the phone. MONTAGUE made the victims undress at gunpoint and ordered them to lie down and spread their legs. MONTAGUE ordered one of the females to perform oral sex on him, but she initially refused. MONTAGUE put the handgun to her head and she did what she was told. MONTAGUE then vaginally raped one of the females and then robbed them at gunpoint. After not being satisfied with what little money he received, he searched through their purses. MONTAGUE was enraged about them not having much money so they told him the business owner may have some money in a desk. MONTAGUE shot the locked desk with his handgun. MONTAGUE fled and the females managed to write down his license plate. MONTAGUE admitted to the Robbery, but denied the rape. MONTAGUE eventually pled guilty to Robbery 1st Degree. In 1977, when MONTAGUE was 25 years old, he entered a Snohomish County home of an unknown 31 year old female. The victim had been carrying groceries into the house and found MONTAGUE coming down the hall with a knife in one hand and a black case in the other. MONTAGUE told her, 'This is rape.' MONTAGUE put his forearm to her neck and pushed her into a bedroom. Once in the bedroom the victim tried to run to escape from MONTAGUE. MONTAGUE pulled the victim back into the bedroom and told her not to try that again or she and her three year old daughter would be hurt. MONTAGUE put a pillow case over the victim's head, partially undressed her, and then took Polaroid photographs of her. MONTAGUE then had her change into some different panties and then took more pictures of her. MONTAGUE raped the victim on the bed. MONTAGUE left the bedroom came back and found the victim still on the bed so he left the house. The victim called 911 as soon as she heard the front door slam shut. Police found the knife and Polaroid camera in MONTAGUE's vehicle. When Police were searching the area for evidence, they talked with a 14 year old female who said someone matching MONTAGUE's description had followed her and her younger sister so they ran back to their house since they were frightened. MONTAGUE was convicted of Rape in the 1st Degree and Burglary in the 1st Degree. In 1977, when MONTAGUE was 25 years old, he went to an unknown 22 year old female's home where a car was for sale. The female answered the door and MONATGUE wanted to know how much she wanted for the car. She told him $1,000 and MONTAGUE said that was too much. MONTAGUE then asked her aggressively how much to fornicate and forced open the door, entering the home. MONTAGUE took off the victim's clothing and placed a pillow case over her head. MONTAGUE told the victim he was a hired killer and told the victim not to fight him. The victim told MONTAGUE, 'Please don't do this I have an eight month old baby.' The victim told MONTAGUE her grandmother was on the way over for lunch, but this did not deter MONTAGUE. The baby was in the kitchen area crying at this point. MONTAGUE attempted intercourse with the victim, but became frustrated stating, 'I can't even do this right.' MONTAGUE tied up the victim and fled. The victim later identified MONTAGUE from a photographic line up. MONTAGUE was convicted of Rape in the 1st Degree. In 1976 when MONTAGUE was 25 years old, he entered the home of an unknown 27 year old female in King County and raped her. The victim said she'd just returned home from shopping with her five year old daughter and was unloading groceries into her house.
