| Narrative: | On the above date and time, an officer of the Brooksville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a gold Pontiac Sunfire near the intersection of Roberta Avenue and MLK Blvd. for defective equipment. The officer then made contact with the driver, Victor Pike, who advised his driver’s license was suspended. A computer check of Pike’s identification revealed two suspensions for failure to pay traffic fines and one suspension for failure to pay court financial obligations. The computer check also revealed two prior convictions for DWLSR in 2012. Pike was placed under arrest and charged with felony DWLSR (3rd offense). He is being held at the Hernando County Jail on $2000.00 bond. The vehicle Pike was driving was impounded and stored at the police department and seizure paperwork was filed. |
