| Comments: | According to official documents Amondson was convicted in Lewis County Superior Court on 03/25/1977 of one count of Rape Second degree. He was sentenced to no more than 10 years in prison. The victim was an unknown 15 year old female. Amondson was introduced to the victim when she was spending the night with a friend. He was left alone with the victim and then physically attacked her and then raped her. On 09/11/1986 Amondson was convicted in Snohomish County Superior Court of one count of Indecent Liberties and sentenced to not more than 10 years in prison. He formed a relationship for six months with a single mother. Three days after moving in with them he sexually assaulted the four year old female victim while left babysitting her. On 01/30/1992 Amondson was convicted in Snohomish County Superior Court of two counts of Child Molestation in the First Degree. He was sentenced to 188 months in prison. In this case Amondson was introduced to a family and agreed to help out with household chores. He spent the majority of his time assisting the family which included spending time alone with the 11 year old female victim. Amondson sexually assaulted the victim on numerous occasions over a one month period of time. In the second count Amondson sexually assaulted the nine year old female victim who was a friend of the other victim. Amondson has admitted sexual assaults against numerous female child victims since his age of 12. Amondson has attended sex offender treatment during this incarceration. He was considered for civil commitment but was found not to meet the criteria. On July 30th, 2005 Amondson was arrested for violations of his conditions while on supervision. Amondson was at Kayak Point County Park and over a period of one month Amondson had contact with many minors. Amondson obtained the name, address and phone number of one minor and kept calling this 14 year old wanting to take him out to dinner, for rides and to the park. On July 30, 2005 a Detective with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office took numerous photo's of Amondson having contact and talking to minors while he was on the fishing pier and he was arrested. Amondson was again referred for Civil Commitment and again was found not to meet the criteria. Amondson was released from jail for these violations on November 7, 2005. Amondson is no longer on supervision. |
