| Narrative: | Brooksville Police Officers responded to a complaint of a theft in progress at Wal-Mart. Investigation found the Asset Protection Officer observed WALTER STEPHEN TRUZACK III remove a pair of cargo shorts from a shelf and put them on. He walked around the store taking items from shelves and placing them in pockets of the shorts. He went to hardware took a pair of cutters and cut security devices off electronic items and throw the security devices in a trash can. When the officers confronted the subject in the store the subject refused to comply with the officers orders. When the arrest was attempted, WALTER STEPHEN TRUZACK III physically resisted the officers by shoving, striking and kicking the officers. WALTER STEPHEN TRUZACK III was restrained and transported to Hernando County Jail where he was charged and held on $18,250.00 bond. |
